Our CO2 Exchange Program
Put simply...
Our program works just like exchanging a 20 lb propane tank for a BBQ grill: trade your empty CO2 cylinders for full ones, and order only when you run low.
First, do you already have empty cylinders?
An exchange order means trading empty cylinders for full ones. You must already own at least 2 empty cylinders to start. The empty cylinders can be from any brand, but must be 60L and both the same connector type (screw-in or quick connect). Pick the path that matches you.
I don’t own any empties yet
First time ordering? Place a Buy Outright order to get full cylinders now, then use the empties to exchange later.

Cylinders are exchanged in 2-packs and 4-packs. Start with your own, or get a pair with a Buy Outright order.

FedEx delivers your full cylinders in 3–7 days, with a prepaid return label in the box.
Pack up your empties
Put your empties in the Simpli Soda box and stick the prepaid label over the old one.
Mail back via USPS
Drop it in any mailbox or at a USPS location. Return shipping is always on us — your exchange is complete the day USPS scans it.

How to return your empties
- 1.Remove your new cylinders and place your empty ones into the box.
- 2.Peel and stick the prepaid return label over the existing one.
- 3.Return it by placing it in your mailbox or at a USPS location.
Important: 70-day return window
Exchange orders must be completed by sending back your empty cylinders within 70 days of delivery. We’ll send a reminder if you forget. Once USPS scans your return, your exchange is complete — after that, keep your remaining cylinders as long as you’d like.
Good to know
✓ What you can return
Any 60L cylinders from any brand or supplier — they just need to be empty, and every cylinder in a pack must be the same style (all screw-in or all quick-connect, never mixed).
✓ If you miss the 70-day window
A non-return fee of $10 per cylinder not returned, plus tax applies. Return some but not all, and you’re only charged for the ones we don’t get back. We’ll send a reminder before your deadline.
✓ Shipping is free
Return shipping is always free. Order a 4-pack and outbound shipping is free too — free both ways.

Not a subscription
You order only when you need cylinders exchanged. No recurring charges — you’re in complete control.
Pro tip: keep three or five
Two or four cylinders out for exchange and one in your machine means you’re never waiting on a swap.
